Giorgio Ascanelli
Giorgio Ascanelli (born 23 February 1959) is an Italian automotive engineer who has worked for several years in Formula 1. He is currently the technical head of Brembo, a supplier of Formula 1 brakes. Career Ascanelli began his sporting career in 1985, as a calculation technician at Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari. In 1987, after two years of processing numerical data, he moved to Abarth, through the Fiat meeting program, working as an engineer, but at the end of the year he returned to Ferrari and started working as a track engineer for Gerhard Berger. This relationship lasted three seasons, when Berger left Ferrari to race with McLaren. Ascanelli joined Benetton Formula, Benetton in 1990, under the orders of his former Ferrari superior, John Barnard. Ascanelli was Nelson Piquet's track engineer for two seasons, but after Barnard's departure, followed by Piquet's decision to retire from Formula 1, Ascanelli signed to McLaren for the 1992 season as Gerhard Berger's track engineer. Williams Racing, legally known as Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited and competing as Atlassian Williams Racing, is a British Formula One team and constructor. It was founded by Frank Williams (Formula One), Frank Williams (1942–2021) and Patrick Head. The 2008 Italian Grand Prix (formally the Formula 1 Gran Premio Santander D'Italia 2008) was a Formula One motor race held on 14 September 2008 at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, Monza, Italy. Scuderia Toro Rosso SpA (; ), commonly known as Toro Rosso or by its abbreviation STR, was an Italian Formula One constructor. It was one of two Formula One constructors owned by Austrian conglomerate company Red Bull, the other being Red Bull Racing. Maserati MC12
The Maserati MC12 (''Tipo M144S'') is a limited production two-seater sports car produced by Italian car maker Maserati from 2004 to 2005, to allow a racing variant to compete in the FIA GT Championship. The car entered production in 2004, with 25 cars produced. A further 25 were produced in 2005 after the FIA changed the rules and reduced the maximum length allowed. The second batch of 25 are 150mm shorter than the originals, making a total of 50 cars available for customers. With the addition of 12 cars produced for racing, a total of just 62 were ever produced. Maserati designed and built the car on the chassis of the Ferrari Enzo, but the final car is much larger and has a lower drag coefficient, along with being longer, wider and taller and has a sharper nose and smoother curves than the Enzo. He is a former motorsport engineer and Formula One team principal, and has worked for a number of Formula One teams.
