Gino Esposito
Gino Esposito is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Shane McNamara. The character made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 11 August 2000. The character was originally played by Claude Stevens. McNamara was cast in the role when the character was reintroduced in 2001. Gino owned a hair salon called A Good Hair Day, which employed both Lyn Scully (Janet Andrewartha) and Janelle Timmins ( Nell Feeney). Script producer Luke Devenish called Gino "a aystereotype" and a comedic character, similar to Mr. Humphries from British sitcom ''Are You Being Served?''. He last appeared on 27 June 2007, before returning as a new resident of the Eirini Rising retirement community on 19 September 2024. Ian Smith (actor)
Ian Smith (born 19 June 1938) is an Australian former actor, television producer and screenwriter. Smith is best known for his television roles most especially his lengthy tenure on serial ''Neighbours'' as Harold Bishop from 1987 until 1991, he returned as a regular again in 1996 and left in 2009, though has returned in guest parts in 2011, 2015, 2022, 2023 and 2024-2025 respectively. Previously, Smith had appeared on the cult series ''Prisoner'' in the recurring roles as Head of the Corrections Department, Ted Douglas. Smith also worked on that series as an executive producer and screenwriter. In 2023 Smith stated he would make some guest appearances in the relaunch of ''Neighbours'', but also said he was happy to call it a day. However in 2024 he returned to the role. Boyd Hoyland
Boyd Hoyland is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Kyal Marsh. He made his first on-screen appearance on 5 June 2002. In 2007, Marsh quit the serial and his character departed on 3 August 2007 along with Stephanie McIntosh's character Sky. Casting Marsh joined the cast of ''Neighbours'' as Boyd when he was fourteen. Alan Fletcher (born 30 March 1957) is an Australian actor of stage, television and film. He is also a singer and musician.
