Ginevra Elkann
Ginevra Elkann (born 24 September 1979) is an Italian film producer and director, heiress and socialite. She is a member of the Agnelli family and granddaughter of Italian industrialist Gianni Agnelli. Early life Elkann was born in London, on 24 September 1979, the daughter of the Italian Margherita Agnelli and the French-Italian writer Alain Elkann. Her father is Jewish and her mother is Catholic, and she was raised Catholic. Her maternal grandparents were princess and socialite Marella Agnelli and the industrialist Gianni Agnelli. She is the great-grandniece of Ettore Ovazza. She has two older brothers, John Elkann, who is chairman of the Fiat group of companies, and Lapo Elkann. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she moved first to Rio de Janeiro and then to Paris with her mother and stepfather, the Russian count Serge de Pahlen. Agnelli Family
The Agnelli family () is an Italian multi-industry business dynasty family founded by Giovanni Agnelli, one of the original founders of the Fiat motor company which became Italy's largest automobile manufacturer. They are also primarily known for other activities in the automotive industry by investing in Ferrari (1969), Lancia (1969), Alfa Romeo (1986) and Chrysler, the latter acquired by Fiat after it filed for bankruptcy in 2009. Synchronized Swimming
Synchronized swimming (in British English, synchronised swimming), also known as artistic swimming, is a sport where swimmers perform a synchronized choreographed routine, accompanied by music. The sport is governed internationally by World Aquatics (formerly known as FINA). It has traditionally been a women's sport, although FINA introduced a new mixed gender duet competition that included one male swimmer in each duet at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships and European Aquatics introduced men's individual events at the 2022 European Aquatics Championships. From 2024, men are able to compete in the team event at the Olympics. Synchronized swimming has been part of the Summer Olympics program since 1984, featuring both women's duet and team events. 70th Venice International Film Festival
The 70th annual Venice International Film Festival, was held from 28 August to 7 September 2013, at Venice Lido in Italy. Italian filmmaker Bernardo Bertolucci was the jury president for the main competition. He was previously the president of the jury at the 40th edition in 1983. Italian actress Eva Riccobono hosted the opening and closing nights of the festival. The Golden Lion was awarded to '' Sacro GRA'' by Gianfranco Rosi, marking the first documentary film to ever win it. American filmmaker William Friedkin received the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement during the festival. An international co-production between Germany, Italy and Tanzania, the film premiered in ''Critics’ Week selection'' at the 70th Venice International Film Festival on September 2, 2013.
