Gin Ichimaru
is a Character (arts), fictional character in the anime and manga series ''Bleach (manga), Bleach'' created by Tite Kubo. He was the Soul Reaper (Bleach)#Unit Commander, captain of the 3rd Division in the Soul Reaper (Bleach)#Gotei 13, Gotei 13 until he betrays Bleach (manga)#Plot, Soul Society, and after that becomes a commander in Sōsuke Aizen's arrancar army. Later on, his initial betrayal turns out to be a trick to get close to Aizen, and he attempts to kill him. His lieutenant was Izuru Kira. Character outline Gin's most prominent characteristic is his expression; with his slitted eyes and ever-present grin, his face looks like that of a fox. Ichigo Kurosaki derisively nicknames him "fox-face" in their first meeting because of this (in the English dub, he instead replies with a more generalized insult). Hollow (Bleach)
In the fictional ''Bleach'' manga/anime universe, a is a kind of monstrous lost soul who can harm both ghosts and humans. Many of the series' antagonists are ''hollows''. There are also hollows with Soul Reaper (a death-related entity)-like characteristics called . One of the series' main storylines has Sōsuke Aizen (the primary antagonist for the majority of the series) and his arrancar (particularly the ten Espadas, the strongest ones) as the force opposing the protagonists. Rukia Kuchiki
is a fictional character in the anime and manga series '' Bleach'' created by Tite Kubo. In the series, she is a Soul Reaper, (死神, Shinigami, literally 'Death God'), in charge of slaying evil spirits called Hollows. At the beginning, after a brief meeting with the protagonist of the series, Ichigo Kurosaki, who can see supernatural beings such as Soul Reapers, she transfers her powers to him in order to fulfill her duties as a Soul Reaper. Rukia has appeared in several other pieces of ''Bleach'' media, including the four feature films in the series, the two original video animations and several video games. Rukia was the first character of the series created by Kubo, her design being the one he decided to use for all the other Soul Reapers. Reaction to her character is generally positive. Kenpachi Zaraki
is a Character (arts), fictional character of support in the anime and manga series ''Bleach (manga), Bleach'' created by Tite Kubo. He is the Soul Reaper (Bleach)#Unit Commander, captain of the 11th Division within the Soul Reaper (Bleach)#Gotei 13, Gotei 13. His Soul Reaper (Bleach)#Vice-unit Commander, lieutenant is Ikkaku Madarame. Character outline Kenpachi has a wild and aggressive appearance, fitting with his personality. He wears his captain's jacket without sleeves, and with a more ragged look to it. He acquired his Haori from the previous 11th Division captain, whom he defeated and killed in a duel in order to become captain. He styles his hair into liberty spikes with bells at the tips, which, Tite Kubo has remarked, makes his hair one of the most difficult to draw in the series. Soul Reapers are a fictional race of spirits who govern the flow of souls between the human world and the afterlife realm called the ''Soul Society''.
