Gift (ice Show)
''Gift'' (full title stylized as 'GIFT – Ice Story 2023') was a solo ice show by Japanese Figure skating, figure skater and List of Olympic medalists in figure skating, two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu, organized by TV Asahi, CIC Co., Ltd., and Team Sirius. It was the first ice skating event at Tokyo Dome, one of Japan's largest and most prestigious entertainment venues, held on February 26, 2023. Preluded by ''Prologue (ice show), Prologue'' in 2022, ''Gift'' was the first main chapter of the Yuzuru Hanyu Ice Story, a series of solo ice shows written, produced, and directed by Hanyu himself in collaboration with Japanese choreographer Mikiko (choreographer), Mikiko. ''Gift'' tells the story of Hanyu's life and future on ice, combining elaborate on-screen narration with live skating performances by Hanyu. Figure Skating
Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It was the first winter sport to be included in the Olympic Games, with its introduction occurring at the Figure skating at the 1908 Summer Olympics, 1908 Olympics in London.
