Galatro () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about southwest of Catanzaro and about northeast of Reggio Calabria. As of 31 December 2004 it had a population of 2,077 and an area of . Located in a very beautiful area of Calabria, it is home to a renowned Spa where treatments are carried out. Galatro's origin can be ascribed to the medieval period, and over the centuries it was repeatedly destroyed by violent earthquakes (the last that of 1906).
