Gianni Fontana
Giovanni Angelo Fontana (born 1 April 1944) is an Italian politician and lawyer. Biography Born in Verona, Fontana graduated in law from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He was elected for the first time in Parliament in 1972. He also served many times as Undersecretary to the Ministries of Public Works, Transport and Industry. On 28 June 1992, he was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in the first Amato government, but he resigned on 21 March 1993, the guarantee notice for handling stolen goods and violating the law on party financing.
