Ian "Gianni" Cassaro Usart (born 10 April 1992) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for CE Sabadell FC. Club career Cassaro was born in Lloret de Mar, Girona, Catalonia, to an Italian father, and made his senior debut with hometown side CF Lloret in Primera Catalana in 2011. On 5 August 2014, he moved straight to Segunda División B after signing for UE Olot, but spent the campaign as a backup option. On 19 June 2015, Cassaro was loaned to Tercera División side CE Europa, for one year. On 22 July 2016, he moved to Girona FC, being a third-choice of the main squad while playing for farm team CF Peralada in the third division. The 2021–22 Primera División RFEF season was the first and the only season under the name Primera División RFEF, the new third highest level in the Spanish football league system. It succeeded the old Segunda División B, which renamed itself Segunda División RFEF and downgraded to the fourth level in the pyramid. Forty teams participated, divided into two groups of twenty clubs each based on geographical proximity. 2020–21 Segunda División B
The 2020–21 Segunda División B season was the 44th since its establishment and the last as the third tier. A total of 102 teams participated, and were distributed in three groups of 20 teams each and two groups of 21, with eight subgroups of ten teams each and two with eleven teams each. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the expansion of the league to what were initially five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season due to promotion from the Tercera División groups in the curtailed past season being applied. The season began on 18 October, following approval by each of Spain's autonomous regions' health departments.
