AE Giannena () is a football club based in Ioannina, Greece. It was founded in 2004. The club was the winner of 5th Group of Delta Ethniki in 2005 and was promoted to Gamma Ethniki for first time in its history. AE Giannena remained two seasons in Gamma Ethniki and since then the club relegated to the local divisions. Stadium and facilities AE Giannena normally plays in Panepirotan National Athletic Center but the team use Zosimades, the main stadium in Ioannina. The Panepirotiko Stadio of Ioannina (), more commonly known as Panepirotiko Stadio () is a sports venue in Ioannina, Epirus, Greece. History The training center was opened in 2002 and has a total capacity of 2,050. In 2004, PAS Giannina started using the facility fortraining sessions. On 20 July 2024 Konstantinos Argyros held a concert in the facility. The National Stadium of Ioannina (), more commonly known as Zosimades Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium based on Ioannina, Greece and named after the 18th-century Zosimades brothers, benefactors of the city. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home of PAS Giannina. The rock band Scorpions (band), Scorpions held a concert in the Zosimades Stadium in 2010. Delta Ethniki () was the fourth level of Greek football championship. During the period of its existence, it was the lowest national division of the Greek championship. It was founded in the 1982–83 season and abolished in the 2012–13 season, as it was merged with the third division (Football League 2). Its history therefore spans 31 years.
