Gianpiero Marini
Gianpiero Marini (; born 25 February 1951) is an Italian former professional football manager and player, who played as a midfielder. A strong and hard-working defensive midfielder, Marini played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, in particular Internazionale, where he won a Serie A title and two Coppa Italia titles during his 11 seasons with the club. At international level, he represented Italy on 20 occasions between 1980 and 1983, and was a member of the team that won the 1982 FIFA World Cup. As a manager, Marini also coached Internazionale, where he won the UEFA Cup in 1994, as well as Como, Cremonese, and the Italy B side. Club career Marini was born in Lodi. Gian Piero Ventura
Gian Piero Ventura (; born 14 January 1948) is an Italian football manager. His playing career as a midfielder was spent in the lower leagues, having not made the grade at Sampdoria, where he began his coaching career with the youth team in 1976. He debuted in Serie A with Cagliari in 1998, and also managed Udinese, Messina, Bari, Torino and Chievo in the top flight. Ventura was the manager of the Italy national team from 2016 to 2017. He was dismissed when they failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, their first absence from the tournament since 1958. Early years Ventura grew up playing in the Sampdoria youth system. He was nominated for an Academy Award and a BAFTA for the documentary ''Pina'', which won the German and the European Film Award in 2011. Biography After obtaining Diplomas in piano and composition from the Paganini Conservatory in Genoa, Reverberi worked in a wide range of media, including TV themes, spaghetti Western soundtracks to pop and rock records, where, with Robert Mellin, he composed the memorable music to the children's TV series '' The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe'' in 1964. Gian Piero Gasperini (born 26 January 1958) is an Italian professional football manager and former professional footballer who is currently the head coach of Serie A club Roma. After starting his managerial career at Crotone, he had spells in charge of Genoa and Inter Milan where he was sacked after just three months. He subsequently managed Palermo and had a second spell at Genoa.
