Giacomo Scarpelli
Giacomo Scarpelli (born 23 May 1956), son of Furio Scarpelli, is an Italian scholar in Philosophy#History, History of Philosophy and screenwriter. Early life Scarpelli was born in Rome, Italy. He obtained a Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Florence, and carried out further research and studies in England and the United States. Career Scarpelli is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Linnean Society of London and teaches Philosophy#History, History of Philosophy at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Paolo Virzì (; born 4 March 1964) is an Italian film director, writer and producer. Early life and work Virzì was born in Livorno, Italy, in 1964, as the son of a Sicilian police officer in the Carabinieri and a former singer.
