Gia Định Football Club () is a Vietnamese football club based in Gia Định ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The club is playing its home matches at the 1,000-capacity Tân Hiệp Stadium. The club competes in the V.League 2, following promotion after finishing second in their group in the 2025 Vietnamese Second Division. History In 2019, Gia Định Football Club was established and used Củ Chi Stadium as their home stadium. As their first season, Gia Dinh participated in the Vietnamese Second Division after purchasing the participation slot of Hoàng Sang. Gia Định was drawn on Group B with Bình Thuận, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, Long An, Tiền Giang, Bến Tre and Vĩnh Long; they finished second on their group, and lost 5–4 during their penalty shootout after a 0–0 draw during the promotion play-off semi-finals. Bắc Ninh Football Club () is a Vietnamese football club based in Bắc Ninh. The club is playing its home matches at the 5,000-capacity Từ Sơn City Stadium. They currently play in the Vietnamese Second Division. History Bắc Ninh Football Club was established in 2023, based on the "Bac Ninh Province Men's Football Development Project" 2024–2030 of the People's Committee of Bắc Ninh province. In the 2024 season, Bac Ninh Football Club participates in the Vietnamese Second Division after purchasing the participation spot of Gia Định. The club appointed former Sông Lam Nghệ An's manager Ngô Quang Trường as the head coach, and also signed a five-year deal with former Vietnam national team former manager Park Hang-seo as sports advisor. Nguyễn Trọng Đại (born 7 April 1997) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or center-back for V.League 2 club Gia Định. Club career A product of Viettel football academy, Trọng Đại captained the team in several youth categories, before being promoted to the first team in 2015, at the age of 18.
