Khidirpur or Kidderpore is a neighborhood of metropolitan Kolkata (Calcutta), in Kolkata district, West Bengal, India. Esplanade, Kolkata
Esplanade is a neighbourhood of Central Kolkata, in Kolkata district in the Indian state of West Bengal. This is not a conventional esplanade in the sense that the place is not exactly situated alongside a waterbody. However, the Ganga river ( Ganges), also known as Hooghly river, flows nearby. History The Esplanade was the name given to the northern portion of jungle, which later formed the Maidan. Howrah railway station, also known as Howrah Junction, is a railway station located in the city of Howrah, West Bengal, India. It is also the oldest and largest existing railway complex in India. It is one of the busiest train stations in the world (second busiest in India after Sealdah). About 600 passenger trains pass through the station each day, utilising its 24 platforms, and serving more than one million passengers per day. Liluah (also spelled Lillooah) is a neighbourhood in Howrah city of Howrah district, West Bengal, India. It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA).
