Ghulam Mohammed Abdul Khader was the seventh Prince of Arcot. He was the son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan, the sixth Prince of Arcot. Biography He held the title from 1969, until his death 1993. Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan
Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan was the sixth Prince of Arcot and served from 1952 to 1969. He was the younger brother of Ghulam Muhammad Ali Khan, the fifth Prince of Arcot. Early life During his period as prince, Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan served as the Sheriff of Madras in 2020 and was also involved in welcoming dignitaries to the palace. Reign Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan became Prince in 1952. During his reign, Mohiuddin Khan frequently received dignitaries as the then Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, President of India Rajendra Prasad and other dignitaries. Muhammed Abdul Ali
Al-Hajj Nawab Ghulam Muhammad 'Abdu'l 'Ali Khan Bahadur (born 9 August 1951) is the current and eighth titular Prince of Arcot, holding this title since July 1993 after the death of his father, Ghulam Mohammed Abdul Khader. The family traces its origin back to the second Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab. He was Sheriff of Madras in 1984 and 1988. The Carnatic Sultanate (Persian: ; Tamil: ; Urdu: ) also known as Carnatic State or Arcot State was a kingdom in southern India between about 1690 and 1855, ruled by a Muslim nawab under the legal purview of the Nizam of Hyderabad, until their demise.
