Ghost skin (short for 'ghost skinhead') is a term used by white supremacists to describe those who adhere to such beliefs or are members of such groups, but who also refrain from openly displaying their racist beliefs for the purpose of blending into wider society and surreptitiously furthering their agenda. The term has been used in particular to refer to covert white supremacists who seek to work in law enforcement. The term "hiding your power levels", originating from the anime ''Dragon Ball Z'', is alternatively used by the online alt-right to reflect a similar concept. White Power Skinhead
White power skinheads, also known as racist skinheads and neo-Nazi skinheads, are members of a neo-Nazi, music of white skin head white supremacist and antisemitic offshoot of the skinhead subculture. Many of them are affiliated with white nationalist organizations and some of them are members of prison gangs. The movement emerged in the United Kingdom between the late 1960s and the late 1970s, before spreading across Eurasia and North America in the 1980–1990s. Crypto-fascism is the secret support for, or admiration of, fascism or trends close to the ideology. The term is used to imply that an individual or group keeps this support or admiration hidden to avoid political persecution or political suicide. A person, organization or idea possessing this tendency would be described by the adjective "crypto-fascist".
