Ghost Machine was an American metal band from Los Angeles, California, active in the mid-2000s. It featured two members from Motograter, vocalist Ivan Moody (also vocalist for Five Finger Death Punch) and drummer Chris "Crispy" Binns, as well as John Stevens of The Clay People. History Ghost Machine came together when vocalist Ivan Moody and guitarist John Stevens met at XM Radio. Moody's band Motograter, previously signed to Elektra Records, were to perform live on-air, when John, an XM Radio producer impressed with Moody's vocals, thought he would be a good fit with the material he had written for his previous project. After several recording sessions, drummer Chris Binns of Motograter (formally of Intrinsic) was recruited, along with electronics/keyboards/programmer Brett Davis and bassist Mike McLaughlin (formally of Intrinsic). The album contains a total of 13 core tracks. There are parts on the album that are silent spaces 4 seconds in length. ''Ghost Machine'' is a 2009 British science fiction film, directed by Chris Hartwill and based on a screenplay by writer Sven Hughes and Malachi Smyth. It stars Rachael Taylor, Sean Faris and Luke Ford (actor), Luke Ford. Plot The film opens with a tied and hooded woman being taken to some sort of jail run by the British military. Nine years later, military technicians and video gamers; Tom and Vic perform a training exercise for several candidates for a special force. They smuggle their top secret, virtual warfare program into a disused prison (as seen before) , to experiment with it using two of the candidates. What should first be a thrill becomes a deadly reality, as a vengeful outsider has manipulated the software and kidnapped them. "Ghost Machine" is the third episode of the first series of the British science fiction television series ''Torchwood'', which was broadcast on the digital television channel BBC Three on 29 October 2006. Set in Cardiff, the episode involves a group of alien hunters called Torchwood discovering an alien machine that shows visions of strong emotional events from the past and future. Plot Jack, Owen, and Gwen, pursue Bernie Harris, a petty thief carrying something emitting an alien signal in his jacket, through the Cardiff streets. Gwen chases Bernie into a train station, and is able to grab his jacket but he gets out of it and runs away. Gwen discovers an alien device in the jacket pocket, and when she activates it, she sees a vision of a lost boy called Tom Flanagan wandering the train station in 1941. Ghost Machine (founded and previously known as Mad Ghost Productions) is an American cooperative media company founded in October 2023, which publishes creator-owned comics through Image Comics, and was founded to help the participating creators to benefit from the development of its intellectual properties.
