Norman Virgil Osborn is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, he first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #14 (July 1964) as the first and best-known incarnation of the Green Goblin. He has since endured as one of the superhero Spider-Man's most prominent villains and is regarded as one of his three Archenemy, archenemies, alongside Doctor Octopus and Venom (character), Venom. In his comic book appearances, Norman Osborn is the amoral business magnate, industrialist head of science conglomerate Oscorp and the father of Harry Osborn, the best friend of Spider-Man's alter ego Peter Parker. Osborn, in part as a reaction to the death of his wife, maintains a cold disposition and is obsessed with attaining as much power as possible. Kalman Andrasofszky
Kalman Andrasofszky (born August 21, 1975 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian comic book artist, writer, inker, letterer, penciller, and designer. Kalman is a native Torontonian and resides there still. Career Much of his work has been in covers for Marvel Comics, and is most notable for his design work on the new Captain Canuck animated feature and comic series. Kalman also writes the new Captain Canuck comics series from Chapterhouse Comics, draws the main covers and was the main artist on the first two issues, Free Comic Book Day #0 issue as well as a story in the 2014 Captain Canuck Summer Special, and acts as editor-in-chief for Chapterhouse. Kalman is also connected to the R.A.I.D., R.A.I.D. studio where he works and collaborates with his contemporaries like Ramón K Pérez, Marcus To, Cary Nord, Francis Manapul, Scott Hepburn and others. Carnage (character)
Carnage is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an adversary of Spider-Man and the archenemy of his father Venom, in particular the Eddie Brock incarnation of the character, although Carnage and Venom have joined forces when their goals have aligned. The character made its first appearance in '' The Amazing Spider-Man'' #361 (April 1992), and was created by writer David Michelinie and artist Mark Bagley, although the first published artwork of Carnage was penciled by Chris Marrinan. Stan Lee would also have some input in the character's name and attributes, pushing for a character who would be far darker and more vicious than Venom, due to the latter's more scrupulous character development. The Night Gwen Stacy Died
"The Night Gwen Stacy Died", alternatively known as "The Green Goblin's Last Stand", is a story arc of the Marvel Comics comic book series ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #121–122 (June–July 1973 in comics, 1973). The two-issue story was written by Gerry Conway, with penciller, pencil art by Gil Kane and inker, inking by John Romita Sr. and Tony Mortellaro. The story features a confrontation between Spider-Man and the Norman Osborn, Green Goblin. Having discovered Spider-Man's identity, the Green Goblin abducts Spider-Man's girlfriend Gwen Stacy. Gwen is killed during the battle, and a subsequent fight results in the Goblin's death. Prior to the release of the story arc, it was not considered common for major members of a superhero's supporting cast to be killed. Origin Story
In fiction, an origin story is an account or backstory revealing how a character or group of people become a protagonist or antagonist. In American comic books, it also refers to how characters gained their superpowers and/or the circumstances under which they became superheroes or supervillains. In order to keep their characters current, comic book companies, as well as cartoon companies, game companies, children's show companies, and toy companies, frequently rewrite the origins of their oldest characters. This goes from adding details that do not contradict earlier facts to a totally new origin which makes it seem that it is an altogether different character. A pourquoi story, also dubbed an "origin story", is also used in mythology, referring to narratives of how a world began, how creatures and plants came into existence, and why certain things in the cosmos have certain yet distinct qualities. Harold Theopolis "Harry" Osborn is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Spider-Man. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the character first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #31 (December 1965).
