Gheorghe Dungu
Gheorghe Dungu (5 April 1929 – 15 June 2023) was a Romanian football player and manager. Club career Dungu was born on 5 April 1929 in Bucharest, Romania and when he was six years old his family moved to Făgăraș. He started playing football at Explosivi Făgăraș, first as a forward. At the age of 15 or 16 in a match against Metrom Brașov, the team's goalkeeper got injured and he replaced him, saving a penalty in the game, coach Andrei Sepci deciding to definitely keep him in the goalkeeper position from then on. In 1947, Dungu went to play for CFR Făgăraș, where he was noticed by Rapid București's player Remus Ghiurițan who recommended him to the team's officials. He went on a trial at Rapid and after playing three matches in which he kept a clean sheet, coach Petre Steinbach decided to keep him at the team. Andrei Sepci
Andrei Sepci (7 October 1911 – 3 December 1992) was a Romanian footballer and manager. He was the manager that guided Știința Cluj in its successful 1964–65 Cupa României campaign. Club career Sepci was born on 7 October 1911 in Barnabas, Máramaros, Austria-Hungary (now Ukraine), starting to play junior level football in 1922 at Școala Sportivă Sătmăreană Satu Mare, moving in 1927 at Olimpia Satu Mare where he played in the regional league. In 1932 he went to play for Universitatea Cluj, making his Divizia A debut under coach Adalbert Kovács on 11 September in a 3–1 away win over AMEF Arad, the team reaching by the end of the season the final of the championship which was lost with 5–3 on aggregate in favor of Ripensia Timișoara, Sepci playing in all 14 games of the campaign. Constantin Teașcă
Constantin Teașcă also known as Titi Teașcă (25 September 1922 – 30 July 1996) was a Romanian football player and manager. Nicknamed "Little Napoleon", Teașcă was known for his controversial training methods for which he would get in conflicts with the players. He was the manager of Romania on two occasions, first in 1962 and then in 1967. He had one experience outside Romania when he managed Turkish side Fenerbahçe from 1970 to 1971. Teașcă has a total of 323 matches as a manager in the Romanian top-division, Divizia A consisting of 120 victories, 64 draws and 139 losses. Playing career Constantin Teașcă was born on 25 September 1922 in Giurgiu, Romania, starting to play junior level football in 1932 at local club, Acvila. In 1940 he started to play for Acvila's senior team, being a midfielder, then in 1946 he went to play for Concordia Ploiești. Ion Mihăilescu (born 27 March 1916; date of death unknown) was a Romanian footballer and manager.
