Giorgio Federico Ghedini
Giorgio Federico Ghedini (11 July 189225 March 1965) was an Italian composer. In addition to orchestral works, in 1949 he premiered a one-act opera based on the American novella '' Billy Budd'' by Herman Melville. Life Ghedini was born in Cuneo in 1892. He studied organ, piano and composition in Turin, then graduated in composition from the Bologna Conservatory under Marco Enrico Bossi in 1911. He worked as conductor for a certain time, then he gave up to devote himself to teaching. He worked as a teacher of composition in Turin (1918–1937), Parma (1937–1941), and finally Milan, where he directed the local Conservatory (1951–1962). Among his pupils, the most eminent were Marcello and Claudio Abbado, Luciano Berio, Guido Cantelli, Niccolò Castiglioni, Carlo Pinelli, and Fiorenzo Carpi. Guido Cantelli conducted the NBC Symphony Orchestra in a 2 February 1952 broadcast concert of Ghedini's ''Pezzo concertante for two violins, viola, and orchestra''. He died in Nervi ... Niccolò Ghedini
Niccolò Ghedini (22 December 1959 – 17 August 2022) was an Italian lawyer and politician who was the lawyer of the former prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi. Ghedini was born in Padua on 22 December 1959. A member of the Italian Liberal Party from the late 1970s, he later joined Forza Italia following his long-time friend Giancarlo Galan. He was elected for the first time to the Chamber of Deputies in 2001. From 2005, he was the regional coordinator of Forza Italia in Veneto. Giuseppe Ghedini
Giuseppe Antonio Ghedini (1707 – 5 June 1791) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, mainly active in Ferrara. Biography Born in Ficarolo in the province of Rovigo. He trained with Giacomo Parolini. He became professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Ferrara. He painted for the main church in Mirandola and the church in Vallalta. He painted a cycle of paintings about the Mysteries of the Rosary, once were around the altar dedicated to the Madonna del Rosario in the church of San Materno Vescovo in Melara. These are now found in Rovigo. He also painted two altarpieces destroyed in an 1851 fire at the church. Giuseppe's brother was a prelate in the town.
