Ghazaleh Alizadeh
Ghazaleh Alizadeh ( fa, غزاله علیزاده ); 15 February 1949 – 12 May 1996) was an Iranian poet and writer. Her mother was also a poet and writer. She married twice; she and her husband Bijan Elahi had a daughter called Salma. She also adopted two girls who were survivors of the 1961 Qazvin earthquake. Biography She was an introvert, smart, and energetic student at school. She got her diploma in Humanities from Mahasti High School and at the same time became a vegetarian. She received her BA in Political Sciences from Tehran University, then went to France to study philosophy and cinema at Sorbonne University. She initially went to Paris to pursue her PhD in law, but changed her major to illuminationism and wanted to write her dissertation on Molavi, but she left it due to the sudden death of her father. Nawaf Ghazaleh
Nawaf Ghazaleh ( ar, نواف غزالة; 1927 – November 21, 2005) was a Syrian Druze who assassinated the overthrown Syrian president Adib Shishakli. Assassination of Shishakli The assassination took place on September 27, 1964, in Brazil, where Shishkhali was in exile. Ghazaleh approached Shishkhali while he was crossing a bridge between the cities Ceres and Rialma, and exchanged a few words with him before shooting him five times with a pistol. It was revenge for Shishakli's military campaign in Jabal al-Druze. The Ghazaleh clan had taken some of the largest casualties during the assault. Rustum Ghazaleh
Rustum Ghazaleh ( ar, رستم غزالة) also transl. from Arabic as Rostom Ghazale, Rustom Ghazalah, Rustom Ghazali; (3 May 1953 – 24 April 2015) was a Syrian military and intelligence officer. Early life Ghazaleh was born into a Sunni Muslim family in Qarfa village in Daraa Governorate on 3 May 1953. Career Ghazaleh joined the Syrian Arab Army as a first lieutenant and platoon commander of a mechanized infantry (BMP-1) unit in 1973, just in time for the Yom Kippur War but did not see frontline combat. He later trained in artillery and military intelligence in the Soviet Union. He was later an artillery spotter and commander of a mechanized battalion during the Lebanese Civil War. He was appointed by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in December 2002 to succeed the late Ghazi Kanaan as head of Syrian military intelligence in Lebanon. Beit Ghazaleh
Beit Ghazaleh (The Ġazaleh House; ar, غزالة) is one of the largest and better-preserved palaces from the Ottoman period in Aleppo. It was named after the Ghazaleh family that owned it for about two centuries. Since 1914, it was used as a public school and was recently restored to host the Memory Museum of the city of Aleppo. Beit Ghazaleh is located in the Al-Jdayde district of Aleppo. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh ( ar, طلال أبو غزالة; born April 22, 1938) is the chairman and founder of the international Jordan-based organisation, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org). Dubbed as the godfather of Arab accounting, Abu-Ghazaleh has also been credited for promoting the significance of Intellectual Property in the Arab World.
