Alka Kubal Athalye ( Kubal; born 23 September 1965) is an Indian actress and producer who has worked in Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, and Rajasthani language films. Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished actresses in Marathi cinema, she has acted in over 150 films across a career spanning more than four decades. Priya Arun Berde (Maiden and married names, née Arun; born 30 July 1970) is an Indian actress who has worked in several Marathi language films. She is the wife of the actor Laxmikant Berde and is the daughter of actress Lata Arun. She joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2023. Early life Arun started her career as dubbing artist. Ramesh Bhatkar
Ramesh Bhatkar (3 August 1949 – 4 February 2019) was a Marathi film, stage and TV actor. Of the various roles that Bhatkar portrayed, he was best known for his roles in the TV series ''Commander'' and '' Hello Inspector''. He worked for more than 30 years as an actor in the mainstream commercial movie industries of the Marathi and Hindi languages. He died on 4 February 2019 at the age of 69 in Mumbai due to cancer. Sudhir Joshi
Sudhir Joshi (1948 – 14 December 2005) was an Indian Marathi actor and comedian. Born in Dadar, Joshi attended Pinto Villa (branch of Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya) and later Kirti College to obtain his BA Economics. He also studied law at Kirti. He worked as a sales executive at the publishing company Blackie and Sons. Leaving this position in 1973, he worked in other sales related jobs for a year, then happened upon a chance to act in a play in 1974. It was to be the start of Joshi's acting career. Due to a massive heart attack he died in Mumbai in December 2005. Laxmikant Berde
Laxmikant Berde (26 October 1954 – 16 December 2004) was an Indian actor known for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. He began his career as an employee at the production company Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh and later appeared in supporting roles in several Marathi stage plays. In 1983–84, he gained recognition for his role in the Marathi play ''Tur Tur''. In addition to his film career, Berde was also involved in successful comedy stage plays, including ''Shantecha Karta Chalu Aahe'' and ''Bighadale Swargache Dwaar''.
