Geylang (film)
''Geylang'' ( zh, 芽笼) is a 2022 Singaporean crime thriller film produced and directed by Boi Kwong. The second feature film by Kwong, the film is set in the red-light district of Geylang and revolves around the intertwined fates of five individuals over the course of one night. It had its world premiere at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival in November 2022 and was released in theatres on 6 April 2023. Mark Lee (Singaporean Actor)
Mark Lee Kok Huang (born 16 October 1968) is a Singaporean comedian, actor, presenter, radio DJ and entrepreneur. Early life Lee's father was a barber, and his mother was a food and beverage stall assistant. Growing up, Lee would help out in the hawker stall to prepare and sell cooked food, beverages, and chee cheong fun at a hawker centre. Lee was schooled in Jurong Secondary School. Career Lee is known for, amongst others, playing the title role in Singapore's Mediacorp Channel 5 television sitcom '' Police & Thief'' as Lee Tok Kong and in Mediacorp Channel 8 long series television drama '' Holland V'' as Su Hao. Sheila Sim Hui Yi (born 7 June 1984) is a Singaporean actress, model and businesswoman. Early life and education Sim attended Radin Mas Primary School and CHIJ Saint Theresa's Convent. She later studied at Nanyang Polytechnic but dropped out after three months. Sim graduated from Marketing Institute of Singapore with a diploma in sales and marketing and Curtin Singapore with a degree in advertising and marketing respectively. International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) is an annual film festival held at the end of January in various locations in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, focused on independent and experimental films.
