Gev Sella
Gev Teddy Sella is an Israeli-South African motorcycle rider. Career A native of Netanya, he has been riding on a motorcycle since he was five years old. He has two younger brothers, Tsuk and Suff. "The best thing I can do is to be on the bike. Whenever I can I do it. (…) Every time I can, I’m going on the bike", Sella stated during the 2017 Africa Eco Race. In July 2016, Sella came in second at the FIM Junior Cross-Country Rallies World Cup in Italy. This was during the 9th Sardegna Rally Race, which he finished 14th overall and second in Junior class. In August/September 2016, he raced at the Serres Rally in Greece, finishing in 19th place. Participating in his first rally-raid at the age of 17, Sella kicked off 2017 with a bang, taking home the overall victory in the bikes’ category at the Africa Eco Race, winning five stages and holding off two-time race winner Pål Anders Ullevålseter who finished second overall. Netanya (also known as Natanya, he, נְתַנְיָה) is a city in the Northern Central District of Israel, and is the capital of the surrounding Sharon plain. Africa Eco Race is an annual rally raid, organised in France and run in North and West Africa, launched after the cancellation of 2008 Dakar Rally, and the subsequent moving of the rally to South America. The rally claims to have innovated to give a special focus on security issues and sustainable development. Pål Anders Ullevålseter
Pål Anders Ullevålseter (born 7 December 1968, in Oslo) is a Norwegian rally raid motorcycle rider. He came in second at the 2010 Dakar Rallye, captured the 2004 FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship and has won the Africa Eco Race twice. Dakar Rally He has competed in the Dakar Rally 11 times and was the first Norwegian to complete the race. His best result came in 2010 when he came in second, finishing just over an hour behind winner Cyril Despres. Africa Eco Race He won the Africa Eco Race in 2015 and 2016, dominating completely the races, and winning 16 stages. Prior to the 2016 edition, Ullevålseter had stated, his goal was not to win the race, but to raise as much money as possible for a school in Dakar, founded by Fabrizio Meoni, who died during the Dakar Rallye in 2005. Miriam "Miri" Regev ( he, מִרְיָם "מִירִי" רֶגֶב; born Miriam Siboni on 26 May 1965) is an Israeli politician and a former brigadier-general in the Israel Defense Forces, in which she served as IDF Spokeswoman.
