Tour De Langkawi
The Tour de Langkawi is a stage race, multiple stage bicycle racing, bicycle race held in Malaysia. It is named after the archipelago Langkawi, where the first edition started and finished. The race has been held annually since 1996, primarily in February. It usually consists of 10 day-long segments (stages) over 10 days, but has been reduced to eight stages over recent years. While the route changes each year, the Genting Highlands climb, the toughest in the tour, is always included. Shinichi Fukushima
is a Japanese former professional racing cyclist and directeur sportif, active in cycling between 1996 and 2018. Biography Born in Nagano Prefecture, Fukushima started cycling at Shinshu University and practised road racing in the Netherlands before becoming professional with Team Bridgestone Anchor in 1996. He has competed around the world, winning races in both Asia and Europe.
