Geta Brătescu
Geta Brătescu (4 May 1926 – 19 September 2018) was a Romanian visual artist with works in drawing, collage, photography, performance, illustration and film. In 2008, Brătescu received an honorary doctorate from the Bucharest National University of Arts for "her outstanding contributions to the development of contemporary Romanian art". Brătescu was artistic director of literature and art magazine ''Secolul 21''. A major retrospective of her work was held at the National Museum of Art of Romania in December 1999. In 2015 Brătescu's first UK solo exhibition was held at the Tate Liverpool. In 2017, she was selected to represent Romania at the 57th Venice Biennale. Adriano Pedrosa
Adriano Pedrosa (born 1965) is a Brazilian curator. He is the artistic director of the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) and curated the 2024 Venice Biennale. Career From 2011 to 2014, Pedrosa was responsible for the artistic programs at SP-Arte, an art fair in São Paulo, under the leadership of its founder Fernanda Feitosa. Pedrosa was co-organizer of the 2006 edition of the Bienal de São Paulo, as well as biennial exhibitions in Tijuana (2005); San Juan, Puerto Rico (2009); and Istanbul (2011, with Jens Hoffmann). In 2013, he curated ''Hiwar, Conversations in Amman'', a residency and conversations programme at the Khalid Shoman Foundation in Jordan, encompassing artists from countries including Angola, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, Palestine and the Philippines. Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google's homepages intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements, and historical figures. The first Google Doodle honored the 1998 edition of the long-running annual Burning Man event in Black Rock City, Nevada, and was designed by co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin to notify users of their absence in case the servers crashed. Early marketing employee Susan Wojcicki then spearheaded subsequent Doodles, including an alien landing on Google and additional custom logos for major holidays. Eugen Berthold Friedrich Brecht (10 February 1898 – 14 August 1956), known as Bertolt Brecht and Bert Brecht, was a German theatre practitioner, playwright, and poet.
