Gerwin Pardoel (born 12 May 1981), better known by his stage name Gers Pardoel or mononymously as Gers, is a Dutch rapper. He rose to fame in 2009, due to his successful collaboration with The Opposites on the single " Broodje Bakpao". Pardoel's debut studio album ''Deze wereld is van jou'' was released in November 2011 and was certified Platinum by the NVPI. Gerwin van der Werf (born 1969), broer van Ysbrand van der Werf is a Dutch author of novels, songwriter, and instrumentalist. In January 2010, his poem "" ("Abuse") won the first prize of in the Dutch Turing National Poetry Contest. Georg Gottfried Gervinus (20 May 1805 – 18 March 1871) was a German literary and political historian. Biography Gervinus was born in Darmstadt. He was educated at the gymnasium of the town, and intended for a commercial career, but in 1825 he became a student of the university of Giessen. In 1826 he went to Heidelberg, where he attended the lectures of the historian Schlosser, who became henceforth his guide and his model.
