Gerry Lincoln
Gerald C. (Gerry) Lincoln (died November 5 or 6, 2017) was one of the founders of the Heritage Front along with Wolfgang Droege, Grant Bristow and James Scott Dawson. Lincoln was editor of ''Up Front'', the group's official magazine, designed the group's logo and also acted as one of its spokespersons. In 1989, Lincoln traveled with Droege and other members of the Nationalist Party of Canada to Libya on the invitation of Muammar al-Gaddafi to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Libyan regime. It was on that trip that several members of the Nationalist Party, disaffected by the leadership of Don Andrews, decided to found the Heritage Front. In the 1960s, Lincoln was a fan of Jackie Shane, an openly gay, transgender, Black soul and rhythm and blues singer based in Toronto. Heritage Front
The Heritage Front was a Canadian neo-Nazi white supremacist organization founded in 1989 and disbanded around 2005. The Heritage Front maintained a telephone message line with a different editorial each day. The voice on the hotline was Gary Schipper. The line resulted in complaints to the Canadian Human Rights Commission and hearings into allegations that the group violated Canada's hate crime laws. The group organized a series of white power rock concerts in Toronto and elsewhere. Immediately after one of these concerts, a Tamil man, Sivarajah Vinasithamby, 41, returning home from work was beaten and partially paralyzed by several white power skinheads who had just left the concert. Wolfgang Droege
Wolfgang Walter Droege (or Dröge) (25 September 1949 – 13 April 2005) was a German-born Canadian white supremacist, neo-Nazi and founding leader of the Heritage Front. Biography Early life Droege was born in Forchheim, Germany. His parents and grandparents had been enthusiastic supporters of the Nazi Party, and Julius Streicher was a friend of the family. Droege and his mother moved to Canada in 1962. In 1967, he moved back to Germany to join the military but was rejected for health reasons. He moved back to Canada and became a Canadian citizen in the early 1970s. 1970s Droege became interested in far-right politics and joined an extremist group, the Western Guard, in 1974 at the prompting of Don Andrews and later joined Andrews's Nationalist Party of Canada. Grant Bristow
Grant Bristow (born February 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) was an undercover spy, or mole, for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), who co-founded and successfully infiltrated the Heritage Front white supremacist group for six years. Several months after the assignment, Bristow was exposed by ''Toronto Sun'' reporter Bill Dunphy, in August 1994. The party describes itself as white nationalist, and is known for its antisemitic and racist publications. Donald Clarke Andrews (born April 20, 1942 as Vilim Zlomislić) is a Canadian white supremacist. He is also the leader of the unregistered neo-Nazi Nationalist Party of Canada and a perennial candidate for mayor of Toronto, Ontario. Early years Zlomislić was born to Croat parents in the region of Vojvodina during World War II. His father was killed by the Nazis while fighting with the Yugoslav Partisans against the German occupation of Yugoslavia in late 1944.
