Gerard Vasilyev
Gerard Vyacheslavovich Vasilyev (; born 24 September 1935 in Tersko-Orlovsky Mayak, Leningrad Oblast) is a Soviet and Russian singer and actor, People's Artist of the RSFSR, President of the Foundation for the Conservation and Development of the operetta genre, president of competition for young artists of operetta ''OperettaLand''. Biography In 1967, Vasilyev graduated from the Leningrad State Conservatory vocal class and was accepted into the troupe of the Novosibirsk Theatre of Operetta, where for eight months of the six played a major role. In 1968, he was invited as a soloist at the Moscow Operetta Theater, where he works now. People's Artist Of Russia
People's Artist of the Russian Federation (, ''Narodnyy artist Rossiyskoy Federatsii''), also sometimes translated as National Artist of the Russian Federation, is an honorary and the highest title awarded to citizens of the Russian Federation, all outstanding in the performing arts, whose merits are exceptional in the sphere of the development of the performing arts (theatre, music, dance, circus, cinema, etc.). It succeeded both the all-Soviet Union " People's Artist of the USSR" award (Народный артист СССР), and more directly the local republic's " People's Artist of the RSFSR" award (Народный артист РСФСР), after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Now, the status of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation has risen above that of the earlier RSFSR award. People's, branded as ''People's ViennaLine'' until May 2018, and legally ''Altenrhein Luftfahrt GmbH'', is an Austro-Swiss airline headquartered in Vienna, Austria. It operates scheduled and charter passenger flights mainly from its base at St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport in Switzerland.
