Gerard Greenan
L. Gerard Greenan (born 17 February 1950) is a Canadian politician. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in the 2007 Prince Edward Island general election, 2007 provincial election. He represents the electoral district of Summerside-St. Eleanors and is a member of the Prince Edward Island Liberal Party, Liberal Party. On June 12, 2007, he was appointed to the Executive Council of Prince Edward Island as Attorney General and Minister of Education. In an April 2008 cabinet shuffle, he was styled Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development. Greenan was dropped from cabinet in January 2010. On January 23, 2015, Greenan announced he would not seek re-election in the 2015 Prince Edward Island general election, 2015 election. Charlottetown
Charlottetown is the capital and largest city of the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, and the county seat of Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Queens County. Named after Queen Charlotte, Charlottetown was an unincorporated town until it was incorporated as a city in 1855. The 2007 Prince Edward Island general election was held on May 28, 2007. It elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The incumbent Progressive Conservative government was defeated by the Liberal opposition after holding power for eleven years. The newly formed Green Party captured 3.04% of the vote or 4.44% in ridings they contested, beating out the New Democratic Party for third place. Prince Edward Island is an island Provinces and territories of Canada, province of Canada. While it is the smallest province by land area and population, it is the most densely populated. Martina "Tina" Marie Mundy (born 26 December 1964 in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador) is a Canadian politician who served in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 2015 to 2019.
