Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa
Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa is a Ugandan accountant and business administrator. She serves as the Permanent Secretary in the Uganda Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives. She was appointed permanent secretary on the 15th July 2021. Before that, she served as the Deputy managing director of the National Social Security Fund (Uganda) (NSSF Uganda) from 20 March 2011, until 29 October 2017. She was first appointed to that position on 20 March 2011 by Finance Minister Syda Bbumba. On 29 October 2014, she was re-appointed to the same position after a ten-month period when she served as Acting managing director. Education She was born in Lubaga Hospital to Agnes Ssali and Gerald Ssali, circa 1975. She attended Gayaza High School for her pre-university education. Aminah Zawedde, is a Ugandan computer scientist. academic and public administrator, who serves as the permanent secretary of the Uganda Ministry of ICT and National Guidance since 15 July 2021. Before that Zawedde was a lecturer and researcher in the School of Computing and Informatics Technology at Makerere University, the oldest and largest public university in Uganda. Matia Kasaija is a Ugandan politician. He is the current Minister of Finance in Uganda's Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 March 2015, replacing Maria Kiwanuka, who was appointed to Senior Presidential Advisor for Finance. From 27 May 2011 until 28 February 2015, he served as the State Minister for Finance (Planning) in the Cabinet of Uganda. He replaced Ephraim Kamuntu, who was promoted to Minister of Tourism.
