Ger Lagendijk
Gerrit Lagendijk (13 November 1941 – 11 August 2010) was a Dutch professional football player and agent. Early and personal life Lagendijk was born in Rotterdam and grew up in Ridderkerk. Playing career Lagendijk began his career with the youth team of Feyenoord. He later played senior football with ADO, De Volewijckers and PEC. He spent the 1968 season in the North American Soccer League with the Vancouver Royals, scoring one goal in five appearances. He finished his career with Hermes DVS. Agent After retiring as a player, Lagendijk initially worked in insurance and as an arbitrator for the VVCS football association. Ernie Brandts
Ernstus Wilhelmus Johannes Brandts (born 3 February 1956) is a Dutch football manager and former player. Playing career Club Born in Didam, he played for local club De Sprinkhanen before joining De Graafschap at 17. After three seasons he moved on to PSV with whom he won two Eredivisie league titles in seven seasons. He later played for Roda JC, MVV and Belgian side Germinal Ekeren before returning to his first professional club De Graafschap. International Brandts earned 28 caps and scored five goals for the Netherlands national team and played in the 1978 FIFA World Cup. In a second-round match against Italy, he became the first player to score goals for both teams in the same match in the World Cup. He scored an own goal in the 18th minute, and then scored the equalizer for the Netherlands in the 50th minute. North American Soccer League (1968–1984) Players
The North American Soccer League (NASL) was the top-level major professional soccer league in the United States and Canada that operated from 1968 to 1984. It is considered the first soccer league to be successful on a national scale in the United States.
