Georgios Lykoudis
Georgios Lykoudis (, born ) is a retired Greek male volleyball player and volleyball coach currently coaching Panachaiki. He has 154 appearances with Greece men's national volleyball team. He played for Olympiacos for 6 years (1988-1996), winning 6 consecutive Greek Championships, 4 Greek Cups and the 1995–96 CEV Cup Winners Cup. In 1993 (while still an active player) he became head coach of Olympiacos Women's Volleyball Team and coached the team for 3 years. In 2002 he became assistant coach of Olympiacos. In 2006-07 he was appointed head coach Olympiacos Women's Volleyball Team for the second time and in 2009 he became head coach of Greece women's national volleyball team. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. Greek Volleyball Cup
The Greek Volleyball Cup is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation and started in 1980–81 season. The competition was not held sometimes in the past for financial reasons . Olympiacos won the first Cup in 1981 and is the most successful club, having won the title 18 times. They are also the current Cup holders. In 1986–87 edition, teams from the 1st Division did not take part. In 1998, Final 4 was established. In the period 2003–07, Final 8 were held. From 2003 to 2012 only the 1st Division teams competed for the trophy. From 2013 the participating clubs come from all divisions. The A1 Ethniki (), often referred to as the Greek Volleyball League, is the highest professional volleyball league in Greece. It is run by the Hellenic Volleyball Federation.
