Georgie Howe
Georgina "Georgie" Howe (born 3 March 1994) is an Australian former national representative rower and current professional cyclist riding for UCI Women's Team, UCI Women's WorldTeam . School, varsity and state rowing Howe was educated at Melbourne Girls' Grammar School where she took up rowing. In the Melbourne Girl's Grammar senior eight she won the national schoolgirls eight titles at Australian Rowing Championships in 2011 and 2012. Her senior club rowing in Australia was from the Melbourne University Boat Club. In MUBC colours she achieved three podium finishes in U21 sweep oared boats at the 2013 Australian Championships including a national title win in the women's coxless four. After graduation from Princeton she was back at the Australian championships in MUBC boats in 2018 and 2019. The 2023 UCI Road World Championships were the 96th edition of the UCI Road World Championships, the annual world championships for road bicycle racing. There were held between 5 and 13 August 2023 in Scotland, as part of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships. Schwalbe Classic
The Down Under Classic (currently known as the Villawood Men's Classic, and previously known as the Schwalbe Classic, People's Choice Classic, and Cancer Council Helpline Classic for sponsorship reasons), is a criterium around Rymill Park in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. It precedes the Tour Down Under. History Since the very first Tour Down Under in 1999, there has been a history of city-based circuit racing in Adelaide. For several years the Tour Down Under featured a race around the East End of Adelaide and through the centre of Adelaide around King William Street. Australian National Time Trial Championships
The Australian National Time Trial Championships, are held annually with an event for each category of rider: Men, Women & under 23 riders. The event has been run concurrently with the Australian National Road Race Championships since 2002. The Australian Championships have officially been known as the Scody Australian Open Road Cycling Championships since 1999, taking the name of their main sponsor, but are more commonly referred to as ''The Nationals''. According to Cycling Australia, the under 23 men's time trial championships were introduced in 2001. Gran fondo national championships were introduced in 2016. E-sports made a debut in 2019. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey featuring green and yellow stripes, which can be worn by the rider at other time trialling events in the country to show their status as national champion.
