George Poolman
George Poolman (born 6 September 2002) is an Australian rugby union player, who plays for the . His preferred position is centre. Early career Poolman is from New South Wales, and lived in Germany as a child. He represents Sydney University in the Shute Shield and joined the Western Force academy as a 19-year-old. His brother Eddie is also a professional rugby player who represented London Irish in 2023. Centre (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). The Western Force is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Perth, Western Australia, currently competing in Super Rugby, Super Rugby Pacific. They previously played in Super Rugby from 2006 until they were axed from the competition in 2017. The Sydney University Football Club, founded in 1863, is the oldest club now playing rugby union in Australia, although this date is disputed by historian Tom Hickie who argues that it was 1865.
