George Munsey
Henry George Munsey (born 21 February 1993) is a Scottish cricketer. He has played for the Scotland national cricket team since 2015. He is a left-handed opening batsman. He also worked as a salesperson for Gray-Nicolls. Early life Munsey was born in Oxford, England. He was educated at Loretto School in East Lothian between 2006 and 2011. He attended the school on a golf scholarship. He moved from Oxford to Edinburgh at the age of 13 initially with the intention of pursuing his career as a pro golfer. He went onto become a scratch golfer by the age of 16 and he also went onto play golf alongside Tyrrell Hatton regularly in Oxfordshire. However, he changed his mind from becoming a pro golfer to a cricketer as he found tough challenges in pursuing his interest in golf. George Muncey
George Muncey (27 December 1835 — 14 March 1883) was an English first-class cricketer. Muncey was born in December 1835 at Mildenhall, Suffolk. Muncey made played first-class cricket for the Cambridge Town Club (also known as Cambridgeshire), making his debut in 1860 against Cambridge University at Fenner's. He played first-class cricket for Cambridgeshire representative sides until 1866, having made ten first-class appearances. An all-rounder, he scored 197 runs at an average of 10.36, with a highest score of 37; as a right-arm underarm slow bowler, he took 10 wickets at a bowling average of 19.22, and best figures of 4 for 25. Outside of cricket, Muncey found himself in trouble with the law on several occasions. 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup
The 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that formed part of the 2021 English cricket season in England and Wales. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side, having List A cricket status, with all eighteen first-class counties competing in the tournament. The tournament started on 22 July 2021, with the final taking place on 19 August 2021 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. In cricket, the boundary is the perimeter of a playing field. It is also the term given to a scoring shot where the ball is hit to, or beyond, that perimeter, which generally earns four or six runs for the batting team. Twenty20 (abbreviated T20) is a shortened format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the county cricket, inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of twenty over (cricket), overs. Together with First-class cricket, first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being played at the highest level, both internationally and domestically. Cricket Scotland, formerly known as the Scottish Cricket Union, is the Sport governing body, governing body of the sport of cricket in Scotland. The Grange Club
The Grange Club is a cricket and sports club in the Stockbridge district of Edinburgh, Scotland. The cricket ground, commonly known as The Grange, is the regular home of the Scotland national cricket team, and is situated adjacent to the Edinburgh Academy sports ground, which is in Raeburn Place.
