George Hypolite
George Hypolite ip-puh-light(born August 1, 1987) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Colorado. College career While playing for Colorado, He was given the nickname "The Rabid Goldfish" because Colorado alumnus Trey Parker (as Cartman) was announcing the starting lineup names, and called Hypolite "The Rabid Goldfish." He is now a law school graduate from the University of San Diego. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. 2009 NFL Draft
The 2009 NFL Draft was the seventy-fourth annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 25 and 26, 2009. The draft consisted of two rounds on the first day, starting at 4:00 pm EDT, and five rounds on the second day, starting at 10:00 am EDT. To compensate for the time change from the previous year and in an effort to help shorten the draft, teams were no longer on the clock for 15 minutes in the first round and 10 minutes in the second round. Each team now had 10 minutes to make their selection in the first round and seven minutes in the second round. Rounds three through seven were shortened to five minutes per team. Montavious Stanley (born October 10, 1981) is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints. He played college football at the University of Louisville. Early years Stanley attended Dougherty Comprehensive High School, where he was an accomplished three-sport athlete. As a junior he had 17 sacks, helping his team to a state title and a 13-2 record. As a senior he made 15 sacks, contributing to an 11-2 record and reaching the state semifinals. He was a three-time All-Region and a two-time All-state selection at defensive tackle. He was a three-time All-Region selection in basketball, helping his team win a state title as a senior, while averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds per game.
