Georg Hack
Georg Hack (born 20 February 1950) is a former international speedway rider from West Germany. Speedway career Hack reached the final of the Speedway World Championship in the 1982 Individual Speedway World Championship representing West Germany. He has also reached the final of the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship on eight occasions during the period 1977 until 1985. He rode in the top tier of British Speedway, riding for Ipswich Witches. Landshut
Landshut (; bar, Landshuad) is a town in Bavaria in the south-east of Germany. Situated on the banks of the River Isar, Landshut is the capital of Lower Bavaria, one of the seven administrative regions of the Free State of Bavaria. Olching
Olching (Central Bavarian: ''Oiching'') is a town in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km (12 mi) northwest of Munich. Geography Olching lies approximately halfway between Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck, and stretches along both sides of the River Amper. There are two picturesque man-made lakes to the east of Olching, namely the ''Olchinger See'' (Lake Olching) and the eponymous ''Kleiner See'' (Small Lake), both of which border on the neighbouring community of Gröbenzell. Alois Wiesböck (born 31 July 1950), in Niederbergkirchen, is a former Long track motorcycle racing world champion and international motorcycle speedway rider from Germany. Craeer Wiesböck was winner of the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship in 1979. He was also the West German Champion in 1974 and 1978. He rode in Great Britain during the 1979 British League season as a rider for the Reading Racers but only rode in two matches. White City Stadium
White City Stadium was a stadium located in White City, London, England. Built for the 1908 Summer Olympics, it hosted the finish of the first modern marathon and other sports like swimming, speedway, boxing, show jumping, athletics, stock car racing, concerts and a match at the 1966 World Cup. From 1927, it was a venue for greyhound racing, hosting the English Greyhound Derby until its closure in 1984. The stadium was demolished in 1985 and the site is now occupied by White City Place. Karl Maier (1901 – 25 July 2000) was a German Esperantist and member of the Universala Esperanto Asocio, for more than 50 years. Maier learned Esperanto in 1924. After emigration from Germany in 1930, he was living with Esperanto enthusiasts among United States, Mexico and Japan. Between 1935 and 1955 he lived in China. Egon Müller (born 26 November 1948 in Kiel, Germany) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider and was winner of the Speedway World Championship in 1983, winning the title in his homeland with a maximum score of 15 points. Career Motorcycle speedway Egon Müller won the German Champion eight times (1973, 1975, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1985). He rode briefly in the United Kingdom in 1973 for the Coatbridge Tigers (Scotland), and in 1976 for the Hull Vikings. Despite him only appearing for a handful of meetings in 1976, Hull were granted a 'Egon Muller (Rider Replacement)' facility for the entire 1977 season.
