Georg Friedrich Schenck
Georg Friedrich Schenck (born 1953) is a German musician. Schenk was born in Aachen, Germany. Graduating from Hanover Music College (student of Bernhard Ebert), he took masterclasses with Claudio Arrau, and then was a student of the American pianist Andre Watts for many years. In 1986, Schenck was appointed Professor of Piano in the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. As a performer, Schenck has a wide repertoire. In 1987–88, he recorded the complete Beethoven’s piano sonatas and published recordings of Hindemith’s piano music, as well making a prize-winning recording of Brahms' piano transcriptions. Claudio Arrau León (; February 6, 1903June 9, 1991) was a Chilean and American pianist known for his interpretations of a vast repertoire spanning the baroque music, baroque to 20th-century classical music, 20th-century composers, especially Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Schubert, Frédéric Chopin, Chopin, Robert Schumann, Schumann, Franz Liszt, Liszt and Johannes Brahms, Brahms. Robert Schumann Hochschule is a school for music studies at university level in Düsseldorf, Germany. It has a student body of some 850 from over forty countries. Forty-seven full-time and part-time faculty and two hundred associate professors provide individual instruction. Paul Hindemith ( ; ; 16 November 189528 December 1963) was a German and American composer, music theorist, teacher, violist and conductor. He founded the Amar Quartet in 1921, touring extensively in Europe. Johannes Brahms (; ; 7 May 1833 – 3 April 1897) was a German composer, virtuoso pianist, and conductor of the mid- Romantic period. Adriana Hölszky
Adriana Hölszky (born 30 June 1953) is a Romanian-born German music educator, composer and pianist who has been living in Germany since 1976. Biography Hölszky was born in Bucharest. In the years 1959–1969 she studied piano with Olga Rosca-Berdan at the music school in Bucharest. In 1972, she began to study composition with Ştefan Niculescu as parallel to piano studies at the Bucharest Music Conservatory. In 1976 she moved with her family to Germany. Here she continued her studies, and in 1977–1980 she studied composition at the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart with Milko Kelemen, and chamber music with Günter Louegk.
