Geoff Huston (basketball Player)
Geoffrey Angier Huston (born November 8, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a point guard for the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. Collegiately, he played for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Dallas Mavericks traded Huston, along with a 1983 third round draft choice to the Cavaliers in exchange for Chad Kinch and a 1985 first round draft choice on February 7, 1981. ; retrieved June 26, 2007 In eight NBA seasons, he played in 496 games, having played 12,252 minutes, and scoring 4,380 points. Texas Tech Red Raiders Men's Basketball
The Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team represents Texas Tech University in basketball. Texas Tech competes in NCAA Division I and has been a charter member of the Big 12 Conference since its first season in 1996. The team previously competed in the Border Conference and Southwest Conference. The team was founded in 1925, having since won 13 regular season conference championship, and made 21 appearances in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament as of the 2024–2025 season. Since 1999, the Red Raiders have played their home games at the United Supermarkets Arena on the university's campus in Lubbock, Texas.
