Geno Ford
Gene A. "Geno" Ford (born October 11, 1974) is an American college basketball coach and former college and professional basketball player. He is currently the men's head coach for the Stony Brook Seawolves men's basketball, Stony Brook Seawolves, a position he has held since 2019. He was previously the head coach at Shawnee State University, Muskingum University (then Muskingum College), Kent State Golden Flashes men's basketball, Kent State University (2008–2011) and Bradley Braves men's basketball, Bradley University (2011–2015). Ford was an assistant coach at Ohio Bobcats men's basketball, Ohio University, Kent State and Stony Brook. He was promoted to head coach at Stony Brook after serving on Jeff Boals' staff for three seasons. Stony Brook Seawolves Men's Basketball
The Stony Brook Seawolves men's basketball team is the College basketball, intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Stony Brook University. The school competes in the Coastal Athletic Association in NCAA Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The team plays its home games at Island Federal Credit Union Arena, located on the university's campus in Stony Brook, New York. Stony Brook entered the Division I level in 1999, making the NCAA tournament for the first time 2016 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, in 2016. Jeff Boals
Jeff Boals (born September 5, 1972) is the head coach of the Ohio Bobcats men's basketball team. Boals spent seven years as an assistant coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team under the tutelage of Thad Matta. In his first head coaching job, he replaced Steve Pikiell as the head coach for the Stony Brook Seawolves for three years. Playing career A 1995 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, Boals was a four-year letterwinner on the Bobcats' basketball team. A graduate assistant serves in a support role at a university, usually while completing post-graduate education. The assistant typically helps professors with instructional responsibilities as teaching assistants or with academic research responsibilities as research assistants, aids coaches with an athletic team, or is employed by other university departments (such as housing or academic advising). Ohio Valley Athletic Conference
The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference is a high school sports league in parts of southeastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. The OVAC is the largest conference of its kind in the United States. Schools in the upper Ohio Valley supply over 18,000 athletes in various competitive athletic areas. The conference was organized in 1943. Jay Burson is a former a college basketball player at Ohio State University and former player in the Continental Basketball Association. Basketball career High school Burson attended John Glenn High School in New Concord, Ohio from 1981-85. During his sophomore season, he led the nation in scoring with a 44 points per game average. In his four seasons at John Glenn, he scored 2,958 points earning him the record for most points scored in the history of Ohio high school basketball. Jon Keith Diebler (born June 22, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player who is the director of recruiting for the Butler Bulldogs of the Big East Conference. He played four seasons of college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes. High school career Diebler played his freshman season along with his older brother Jake at Fostoria High School for his father, head coach Keith Diebler. The family left when Keith accepted the head coaching position at Upper Sandusky High School, which Jon attended for his remaining three seasons.
