Gennady Romanenko
Gennady Romanenko is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, sociocultural projects initiator, and author. His book ''Karabelіvka. The Land of Our Ancestors - the Land of Our Heirs'' was nominated for the Ukrainian Book of the Year award, an annual literary award by the President of Ukraine. Prior to 2015, Romanenko was on board of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Biography Romanenko graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, degree - Ph.D. in Law. In the late 1980s he became known in the professional community as an antiques collector. In 1991–97 he was engaged in foreign trade. In 1997–2014 Romanenko extensively worked in state agencies. Namely, he was the head of customs offices in several regions of Ukraine, twice in Kyiv. The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC; uk, Рада національної безпеки і оборони України, RNBO or RNBOU) is the coordinating state body of the executive power under the President of Ukraine on issues of national security and defense. Hucul Pony
The Hucul or Carpathian is a pony or small horse breed originally from the Carpathian Mountains. It has a heavy build and possesses great endurance and hardiness. The breed is also referred to as the Carpathian pony, Huculska, Hutsul, Huțul, Huțan or Huzul. The breed gets its name from the Hutsul people, who live mostly in the Carpathians in Ukraine and in Romania, but also in an area in the East Carpathian Mountains north of the river Bistritz, officially named “Huzelei”.
