Generoso Pompa
Generoso Pompa (born 11 March 1952 in Alexandria) in art Gene, pseudonym of Generoso Pompa, Italian painter of contemporary art. Biography Born in Alexandria, Egypt on March 11, 1952, and has lived in Rome since 1962, where he graduated in mural painting from the St Giacomo Institute, (1995-1996). He began his career as a painter in the seventies, becoming familiar with artistic techniques by copying the works of the great masters of the past. Since the 1990s he has been working full-time, alternating surreal works with landscape pieces. The feature that makes Gene's painting recognizable is his relief technique, using a painting knife and brush to accomplish three-dimensional paintings in oil. He has participated in more than 100 personal exhibitions as well as 600 national and International art exhibitions, member of the art association Cento Pittori via Margutta. Alexandria

Spoleto (, also , , ; la, Spoletum) is an ancient city in the Italian province of Perugia in east-central Umbria on a foothill of the Apennines. It is S. of Trevi, N. of Terni, SE of Perugia; SE of Florence; and N of Rome. History Spoleto was situated on the eastern branch of the Via Flaminia, which forked into two roads at Narni and rejoined at ''Forum Flaminii'', near Foligno. Philippe Daverio
Philippe Daverio (17 October 1949 – 2 September 2020) was an Italian art historian, gallerist, teacher, writer, author, politician, and television personality. Biography Daverio was born in Mulhouse, Alsace in 1949 from an Italian father, builder Napoleone Daverio, and an Alsatian mother, Aurelia Hauss. He was the fourth of six children. Daverio attended the European School in Varese, and then studied economics and commerce at the Bocconi University in Milan. Despite completing his cycle of studies, Daverio refrained from writing his final dissertation. As he said, "I was enrolled at Bocconi in 1968–1969, but I don't hold a degree. In those years you would go to university to learn, not to graduate".
