Gene Noble (Born James Eugene Roston III) is an American singer and songwriter, based in New York and Los Angeles. He is best known for the 2016 song " Only Love" which received airplay on radio stations around the world. He has written songs for artists such as Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Faith Evans, Usher, CeeLo Green, Jay Z, Alicia Keys, John Legend and Diddy. Early life and career Noble was born James Eugene Roston III in Manhattan, Kansas. He grew up traveling with his father, who served in the US military and traveled to wherever in the world he was stationed. His father died in an attempt to rescue another man in 1986 when Noble was aged four. He later moved to Long Island, New York with his mother and brother. A year later, he began playing the piano and writing poetry. Inspired by singer Prince and R&B musician D’Angelo, Noble decided to pursue a career as a musical artist. Joseph Thomas Youngman (born March 17, 1982), better known by his stage name Wolfgang Gartner, is an Americans, American DJ and music producer. Much of his music prior to 2010 was released through his own record label, Kindergarten, but he signed with Ultra Records in 2010 and Ministry of Sound in the UK in 2011. Biography Background Youngman created the Wolfgang Gartner name in late 1999 after establishing a successful name as a deep house DJ. Not wanting to be criticized for such an abrupt departure in style, Youngman created the name anonymously. Gartner's identity was revealed officially in July 2008. Emilio Rojas is an American rapper. Biography Early life Emilio Rojas was born to a Venezuelan father and an American mother in the suburbs of Rochester. At age 10, Emilio's father left his family and returned to Venezuela, leaving Emilio and his family to fend for themselves. ''Tiny Desk Concerts'' is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of former '' All Songs Considered'' host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. The first ''Tiny Desk Concert'' came about in 2008 after Boilen and NPR Music editor Stephen Thompson left South by Southwest frustrated that they couldn't hear the music over the crowd noise. Thompson joked that the musician, folk singer Laura Gibson, should just perform at Boilen's desk.
