Gene Jeffress
Harmon "Gene" Jeffress (born October 18, 1948) is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a member of the Arkansas Senate, representing District 25 from 2003 to 2013. Career Jeffress earned his bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Arkansas, Monticello, in 1971. He is a former teacher. Jeffres served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003. He joined the Arkansas Senate in 2003. He was ineligible to run for re-election to the State Senate in 2012 due to term limits. Jeffress ran in the 2012 elections for the United States House of Representatives, representing Arkansas's 4th congressional district. He and Q. Byrum Hurst Jr. defeated D. C. Morrison in the May 22 Democratic primary and advanced to the June 12 primary runoff election. Stephanie Flowers
Stephanie Anne Flowers (born August 8, 1953) is an American attorney and Democratic politician, serving in public office since 2004. Flowers started in politics when she was elected in 2004 to the District 17 seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives. In 2011, she was elected to the Arkansas State Senate where she remains presently. Flowers graduated from Philander Smith College in Little Rock and the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, then known as Texas Southern University School of Law, in Houston, Texas. She became active in politics after returning to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where she joined the Democratic Party and established a private law practice. Tom Cotton
Thomas Bryant Cotton (born May 13, 1977) is an American politician, attorney, and former military officer serving as the junior United States senator for Arkansas since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2015. Louann is a town in Ouachita County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 195 at the 2000 census, which fell to 164 in the 2010 census. It is part of the Camden Micropolitan Statistical Area. Arkansas's 4th congressional district is a congressional district located in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Arkansas. Notable towns in the district include Camden, Hope, Hot Springs, Magnolia, Pine Bluff, and Texarkana. The district is currently represented by Republican Bruce Westerman.
