Gemini Gymnastics
Gemini Gymnastics is a high performance Canadian gymnastics club located in Oshawa, Ontario. It was established in 1979 as a parent-run club. Head coach Elena Davydova was the gold medallist in the women's artistic individual all-around at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Honours Gemini Gymnastics is one of the top gymnastics clubs in Canada. In 2012 it was awarded a Gold "Club of Excellence" Award by Gymnastics Canada, the highest award of its kind. Gemini has won this award for 10 straight years, ever since the award's creation in 2003 and is only one of two clubs in Canada to have done so. Elena Davydova
Yelena Viktorovna Davydova (; born 7 August 1961) is a Russian-Canadian gymnastics coach and judge who competed for the former Soviet Union. She was the women's artistic individual all-around champion at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. She's the owner and head coach at Gemini Gymnastics, a gymnastics club in Oshawa, Ontario. In July 2012, Davydova was one of the coaches of the Canadian Women's Artistic Gymnastics Team. In 2016 Davydova was head floor judge at the 2016 Rio Olympics. In October 2016, she was elected a member of the International Gymnastics Federation's Women Technical Committee. Gymnastics Canada
Gymnastics Canada is the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in Canada and has its current headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario. It is responsible for the organization and promotion of gymnastics on a nationwide basis. Kristina Vaculik
Kristina Vaculik (born July 9, 1992) is a Canadian artistic gymnast who represented Canada at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2011–2012, Vaculik took a year off from Stanford University, which she attended on a gymnastics scholarship, in order to train full-time for the Olympics. Gymnastics At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's Artistic Team All-around
The final of the women's artistic team all-around competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena 1, North Greenwich Arena in London on 31 July 2012. Eight teams qualified for the final, from a total of twelve that competed in the qualification round. Each team was composed of five gymnasts. In the final, each team selected three gymnasts to compete on each apparatus. All three scores on each apparatus were summed to give a final team score. Ava Stewart
Ava Elizabeth Stewart (born September 30, 2005) is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She represented Canada at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. Additionally she was a member of the bronze medal winning teams at the 2022 Pan American Championships and 2023 Pan American Games. Early life Stewart was born in Lebanon, Tennessee in 2005 to an American mother and a Canadian father. Her family moved to Bowmanville, Ontario in 2010. She began gymnastics when she was eighteen months old. Gymnastics career 2020 Stewart made her elite debut at Elite Canada where she finished third in the junior all-around behind Maya Zonneveld and Cassie Lee.
