''Gellunu Furaana'' is a Maldivian romantic horror drama television series developed for VMedia by Yoosuf Shafeeu. The series stars Ali Azim, Irufana Ibrahim, Ali Shahid and Aminath Ziyadha in pivotal roles. The first episode of the series was released on VTV on 7 May 2019. Filming for the series took place in B. Dharavandhoo. Premise Munthasir Ali Azim, visits his best-friend, Rashid, at B. Dharavandhoo during his semester break and he is continuously met with a strange girl (Irufana Ibrahim) who leads him with suspicious questions for Rashid. Yoosuf Shafeeu
Yoosuf Shafeeu also known as Eupe (20 October 1975) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, writer, and director. One of the most successful filmmakers and actors in Maldivian Cinema, Shafeeu is the recipient of a number of awards, including eight Gaumee Film Awards, and a Maldives Film Award; ; holding the record of collecting maximum Gaumee Film Award for Best Actor. In 2003, the Government of Maldives honoured him with the National Award of Recognition. Ali Azim
Ali Azim is a Maldivian film actor. Career 2010–2016: Early releases Azim expressed his interest in acting at a very young age. Before he pursued a career in acting Azim worked as a dancer and stage performer. He was first recognized by the audience for his facial expressions while dancing. While working in the Animation Dance Group, the team made a short children's film ''Lollypop'' with "no serious intention but for entertainment". The film which features Azim in a "forgettable" role did not much help to accelerate his career. This was followed by Abdul Faththaah's 5 episodes drama series ''Kaiveni'', starred opposite Mariyam Zuhura. Irufana Ibrahim
Irufana Ibrahim is a Maldivian film actress. Career Ibrahim made her acting debut in a recurring role in the first Maldivian web-series, a romantic drama by Fathimath Nahula, ''Huvaa'' which initiated streaming in November 2018. The series consisting of sixty episodes and streamed through the digital platform Baiskoafu, centers around a happy and radiant family which breaks into despairing pieces after a tragic incident that led to an unaccountable loss. The series and her performance as the fiancé of a gang-member being arrested for murder were positively received. After the success of ''Huvaa'', Irufana starred in another web-series; Amjad Ibrahim-directed horror television series '' Shhh'' which consists of five episodes. Ramadan ( ar, رَمَضَان, ') is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and the month in which the Quran is believed to be revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
