Cyprus is a European Parliament constituency for elections in the European Union covering the member state of Cyprus. It is currently represented by six Members of the European Parliament. However, as Cyprus had only joined the European Union earlier that month, it was the first election European election held in that state. The election took place on 13 June 2004. ELAM (Cyprus)
The National People's Front (, ΕΛΑΜ, ''Ethniko Laiko Metopo'', ELAM) is a far-right and ultranationalist political party in Cyprus that was founded in 2008. It has been described as neo-fascist or neo-nazi, although these descriptions are denied by the party. It describes its ideology as "popular and social nationalism". As of May 2011, it has been approved as a legal political party.
