Gbemisola Adeoti
Gbemisola Adeoti is a Nigerian academic and poet. He is a professor of Literature in the English Department at Obafemi Awolowo University. He is the author of ''Naked Soles'' which was at a time recommended by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board. Between 2011 and 2015, he served as the Director of the Institute of Cultural Studies, and he was the Dean of the Faculty of Arts from 2015 to 2019 at OAU. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is a federal university in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. The university was founded in 1961 and classes commenced in October 1962 as the University of Ife by the regional government of Western Nigeria, which was led by Samuel Ladoke Akintola. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions. The board conducts Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities. The board is also charged with the responsibility to administer similar examinations for applicants to Nigerian public and private monotechnics, polytechnics, and colleges of educations. Iseyin is a town located in Oyo, Nigeria. It is approximately north of Ibadan. The town was estimated to have a population of 236,000, according to United Nations 2005 estimate, which increased to 362,990 in 2011, and has a total land mass of . The Nigerian Academy of Letters is a national academy and apex body of arts and literature in Nigeria.
