The 2002 African Cup Winners' Cup football club tournament was won by Wydad AC in two-legged final victory against Asante Kotoko This was the twenty-eighth season that the tournament took place for the winners of each African country's domestic cup. Thirty-seven sides entered the competition. 2001 African Cup Winners' Cup
The 2001 African Cup Winners' Cup was the twenty-seventh season of Africa's second oldest club football tournament organised by CAF. South African club Kaizer Chiefs appeared in and won their first African club final, defeating Angolan club Inter de Luanda 2–1 on aggregate in the two-legged final. In sports (especially association football), a two-legged tie is a contest between two teams which comprises two matches or "legs", with each team as the home team in one leg. The Chad Cup is the top knockout tournament of the Chad football. The winner competes in the CAF Confederation Cup the following season. History The first competition began in 1973. The first part of the cup was delayed due to the Chadian Civil War that took place. The later part up to 1988 and from 2002 to 2003 were no held due to financial problems. 2015 LINAFOOT (Chad)
The 2015 LINAFOOT was the inaugural season of the Chad Premier League, LINAFOOT, the top Chadian league for association football clubs. The season was supposed to run from February to August, with teams playing 22 matches each (playing each team in the league twice, home and away) totalling 132 matches in the season. However, due financial difficulties, championship was interrupted after 15 rounds and later resumed, finishing on 24 December 2015. Gazelle FC, Gazelle won their third title. The 2009 Première Division was the Chad Premier League season, the top Chadian league for association football clubs, for 2008/09. Elect-Sport FC, Elect-Sport came into the season as defending champions of the 2008 season.
