Gayle Broughton
Gayle Broughton (born 5 June 1996) is a New Zealand rugby league player, beginning her NRLW career at the Parramatta Eels Women, Parramatta Eels in June 2022, where she played one season prior to joining the Brisbane Broncos in 2023. She formerly played rugby union sevens for the New Zealand women's national rugby sevens team. She made her international debut for New Zealand in 2014 and called time on her rugby career in March 2022. She had scored 315 points in 112 World Series matches. and has won every trophy on offer in the sevens game. Her accomplishments include six World Rugby Sevens series titles, Olympic Games gold and silver medals, Commonwealth Games gold and winning the Rugby World Cup Sevens. Hāwera
Hāwera is the second-largest centre in the Taranaki region of New Zealand's North Island, with a population of . It is near the coast of the South Taranaki Bight. New Zealand Māori Women's Rugby League Team
New Zealand Māori women’s rugby league team, also known as Wahine Toa, is a rugby league representative side made up of New Zealand Māori players. The side represents the New Zealand Māori Rugby league. The team has competed in international competition, including Test Matches and the 2003 World Cup. Since 2018 the team has competed in an annual All Stars match, against the Australian Indigenous women’s rugby league team. The Mounties Rugby League Football Club (sponsored by Mounties Group) is an Australian rugby league football club based in Mount Pritchard, New South Wales formed in 1927. They currently play in the Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield. 2014–15 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series
The 2014–15 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series was the third edition of the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series (formerly the IRB Women's Sevens World Series), an annual series of tournaments organised by World Rugby for women's national teams in rugby sevens. The series also doubled as an Olympic qualifier for the first time ever. For the second time in the series' history, the number of events increased. The first series in 2012–13 featured four events. The 2013–14 series was initially announced with six events, but only five were actually scheduled and played. This season's series included six events. 2014 USA Women's Sevens
The 2014 USA Sevens was the second tournament within the 2013-14 Sevens World Series. It was held over the weekend of 15–16 February 2014 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw, Georgia. Format The teams were drawn into three pools of four teams each. Each team played everyone in their pool one time. The top two teams from each pool advanced to the Cup/Plate brackets while the top 2 third place teams will also compete in the Cup/Plate. Netherlands Women's National Rugby Sevens Team
The Netherlands women's national rugby sevens team participated in the IRB Women's Sevens Challenge Cup in Hong Kong losing to Spain in the Plate semi-finals, they finished 8th overall. In October 2012, the Netherlands was announced by the International Rugby Board as one of six "core teams" that will compete in all four rounds of the inaugural IRB Women's Sevens World Series in 2012–13. Sean Horan
Sean Horan is a New Zealand rugby union and sevens coach. He coached the New Zealand women's national rugby sevens team. He was appointed as head coach in 2012. He previously coached the Bay of Plenty Steamers, in the ITM Cup, from 2009, till his rather shocking departure in 2011. Michaela Blyde
Michaela Brake (née Blyde; born 29 December 1995) is a New Zealand professional rugby sevens player and a double Olympic gold medalist. She was the first female player to win back-to-back World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year titles, in 2017 and 2018. Blyde holds the record for the most tries by a New Zealand women sevens player in a single match (six against Sri Lanka at the 2022 Commonwealth Games) and also the record for most tries in a single fixture when she scored five tries against England in Langford in 2017. The Brisbane Broncos are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Red Hill, a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland.
